酒店布草從生產到酒店，經歷了制作，裝包，運輸等過程，因此管理起來比較麻煩。

一、布草盤點，每天與洗滌商（或內部洗衣場）要進行干凈與臟布草的清點、交接，雙方需要交接簽字認可。

二、布草污染，所謂的布草污染，來源方方面面，客人在使用過程中產生的污漬；服務員在撤換布草過程、清潔房間過程中不注重布草堆放，甚至使用布草清潔房間等現象均會直接導致布草的污染；運輸、搬運過程中，處理不善，亦可能會導致污染。

三、布草洗滌，由于大多酒店布草均由外送洗衣場（作坊）來完成，具體這些作坊是否嚴格按照標準禁止使用對身體有害的含磷洗衣粉就不得而知，其二、社會洗衣場、作坊可能不僅僅與酒店有業務往來，還可能與醫院、殯儀館等簽訂洗滌合約，酒店、醫院、殯儀館布草混合洗滌，導致酒店布草洗滌質量無法得到保障。等等因素都是匯成布草洗滌難點問題，亦非酒店管理所能全盤控制的。

四、布草耗損，在酒店與洗滌商之間永遠存在著布草耗損帶來的糾紛與不愉快，因為對布草耗損的界定確實很難把控，酒店怪洗滌商弄壞的布草，洗滌商說是酒店管理不善導致的破損，孰是孰非，實在難判斷。

五、布草運輸，這絕非一個簡單的話題，從布草折疊，到布草掛置每一個細節、每一個步驟都需要去考量，否則在運輸過程中將導致布草皺褶、污漬等境況發生。
